BACKGROUND
When it comes to politicians, there is only one I truly look up to. Her name is Wilmer Amina Carter. She produced a yearly event called 30 Under 30: Latino/Native American Recognition. The event awarded young community leaders doing admirable things. I was honored to design her event program for three years in a row until she termed out of office.
